Modi government is giving 3 lakh rupees to the beneficiaries of Kisan Samman Nidhi! This is the way to get a loan

To meet the expenses related to farming to the farmers, the central government sends an amount of 6000 rupees a year directly to their accounts under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.

New Delhi. To meet the expenses related to farming to the farmers, the central government sends an amount of 6000 rupees a year directly to their accounts under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi . The government started this scheme from 2019. So far, the government has reached Rs 16000 in 8 installments. However, the 8th installment is still to come in the accounts of some farmers. Along with this, the government provides cheap loans with the help of Kisan Credit Card to protect the farmers from the clutches of moneylenders.

Let us know that if you are also included in the beneficiaries of PM Kisan, then the Modi government is also providing you a loan at a cheaper rate. Explain that this loan is available on the Kisan Credit Card (KCC), made under the Self-Reliant India Scheme (Atmanirbhar Bharat Yojana). The government had directed to include every farmer in this scheme last year.

Linked the Kisan Credit Card Scheme for farmers to the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PMSYM). Due to this, farmers are getting easy installments and low interest loans. If you have not taken advantage of this service then you can take it.

Documents required for KCC

KCC form has been given on PM Kisan Scheme website PMkisan.gov.in. There is a clear instruction in this that banks can give loans by taking only 3 documents. For making a Kisan Credit Card, Aadhaar card, PAN card and photo of the beneficiary are used. Also, an affidavit has to be given, stating that you have not taken a loan from any other bank. As of February 2020, there were approximately 6.67 crore active KCC accounts.

These banks provide Kissasan credit card

Farmers who want to build KCC can contact the Co-operative Bank, Regional Rural Bank, National Payments Corporation of India, State Bank of India (SBI), Bank of India and Industrial Development Bank of India (IDBI).

  • Complete process to get Kisan Credit Card
  • To download the KCC form visit pmkisan.gov.in.
  • On the right side of the Forms tab in the website, the Download KKC Form option is given.
  • Print the form from here and submit it to the nearest bank.
  • The government has kept the validity of the card for 5 years.
  • What are the rates of interest

The farmers are given loans up to Rs 3 lakh from KCC. The interest on the loan is 9 percent, but on the KCC, the government subsidizes 2%. This gives the farmer a loan at 7 per cent interest on KCC. If the farmers repay the loan before time, then they get a rebate of 3% on the interest, that is, the total interest is 4%.
