Monsoon Update: Warning of heavy rain in these states during the next 24 hours, know the weather condition of other states including Delhi

According to Skymet Weather, a trough is extending from Northwest Uttar Pradesh to Northwest Bay of Bengal across Jharkhand and North Odisha. A Cyclonic Circulation lies over North Chhattisgarh. Another Cyclonic Circulation lies over South Coast of Odisha and adjoining North Coastal Andhra Pradesh. Under its influence, rain and thundershowers may occur over East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, North Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh during the next 24 hours. Apart from this, rain is also likely to fall in some districts. However, people in the national capital Delhi may still have to wait for the monsoon.

Heavy rain likely in these states during next 24 hours

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rains with isolated heavy falls are possible over some parts of Sikkim, parts of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh and Marathwada. Light to moderate rain over rest of North East India, parts of Uttarakhand, northern districts of Bihar, West Bengal, parts of Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan & Goa, Gujarat region, Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep and parts of Chhattisgarh possible. Light to moderate rain with one or two places may occur over Jharkhand and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

According to the Meteorological Department, heavy rain and thunderstorms were predicted in many states during the next four days till July 1. At the same time, heavy rains have been predicted in many districts of Uttar Pradesh. Here, including Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, but in most parts of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh, the weather will remain dry and mildly warm. During the next 4 days, widespread to widespread rainfall is very likely over West Bengal and Sikkim and northeastern states. There is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain in Meghalaya. The temperature in Delhi is likely to remain above 40 degrees for the next four days.
