The festival of Holi is celebrated with joy and enthusiasm every year, but this year, a slightly different plan has been prepared for Meerut and Namo Bharat Metro passengers. Metro service timings from Modipuram to Sarai Kale Khan have been changed for this special day. Metro trains will not be available from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM on March 4th. This is intended to facilitate increased passenger traffic and crowd management during the festival. After this, Metro trains will operate from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, allowing passengers to travel safely and in an orderly manner.

NCRTC has ensured that clear instructions and boarding information are available to passengers at all stations. By providing timely information about this change, passengers will be able to plan their journeys comfortably and avoid any difficulties during Holi.

NCRTC provided information

NCRTC Chief Public Relations Officer Puneet Vats stated that due to Holi, the Namo Bharat and Meerut Metro services will be unavailable for 11 hours. For passenger convenience, the metro will operate regularly from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on other days.

Clear information will be posted at stations

Puneet Vats also stated that boards will be installed at all stations except Modipuram, Begampur, Shatabdi Nagar, and Meerut South. These boards will clearly indicate that metro services are unavailable. Passengers will also receive accurate information about exit gates on the boards to avoid confusion.

Convenience for passengers

If someone wishes to travel from Begampur station to another station, the gate and route information will be displayed on the board. This arrangement will provide convenience and clear guidance to passengers even on Holi.
