National Film Awards: Kangana won Best Actress Award, Chichhore won Best Hindi Feature Film

The award is given by the Directorate of Film Festivals, which comes under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The 67th National Film Awards are being announced in New Delhi on Monday. In this ceremony, films and artists will be honored for the year 2019. These awards were initially to be announced in May last year, but were postponed indefinitely due to the Coronavirus epidemic.




The award is given by the Directorate of Film Festivals, which comes under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. These awards are traditionally given by the President of India. However, the awardees were honored by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu for the 66th National Film Awards, while President Ram Nath Kovind hosted a tea party for the winners.

Manoj Bajpayee received the title of Best Actor for his film Bhosle and Tamil artist Dhanush

Sushant Singh Rajput’s “Chichhore” was awarded as the Best Hindi Feature Film.

Actress Kangana Ranaut won Best Actress Award for “Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi” and “Panga”.
