New bus service: Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) and global bus service provider FlixBus have brought good news for people going to IGI Airport from Noida. In an important partnership between the two, India’s first luxury shuttle service has been started. This service will connect Terminal T1 and T3 of Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport to Noida and Greater Noida. This service has started from September 12 itself. It was launched from T3 and T2 crossing area. GMR Aero’s DIAL has described this service as effective in saving people’s time and money.
According to the report, the service will start from 4:00 am and will run till 12:00 midnight. Shuttle service will be available every three hours daily. If we talk about the fare, the general fare has been fixed at only Rs 199 per passenger. At the same time, there is a lot of discount for GMR employees, airport staff and special ID holders. They will have to pay only Rs 100 for their bus service. The 12 meter long AC buses are equipped with 45 comfortable reclining seats with premium features like USB charging ports, individual AC vents, water bottles, CCTV cameras and ample luggage space. The live tracking facility through the FlixBus app will keep passengers informed of the real location of the bus.

The shuttle service said that there will be 16 trips daily on the fixed route. These will start from Pari Chowk and cover major stops like Noida Sector 16A, Botanical Garden, Golf Course Road, Gaur City, JP Vistan. The first departure from IGI Terminal 3 will be at 7:15 am, while the last at 10:30 pm. The service said that the average travel time will be 130 to 180 minutes depending on traffic. This service will not only facilitate the travel of tourists, corporate travelers and local commuters. It will also make it easier to reach Noida’s emerging commercial centers, technology parks and tourist destinations.

DIAL CEO Videh Kumar Jaipuriar said, ‘This partnership with FlixBus will bridge the gap between air travel and urban travel. We aim to reduce carbon emissions and decongest roads by reducing dependence on private vehicles.’ Meanwhile, Surya Khurana, Managing Director, FlixBus India, emphasized, ‘Our modern buses and app-based booking will provide world-class service to passengers, which will promote sustainable mobility.’ Currently, 20% of Delhi Airport passengers use public transport, and this service is expected to increase this figure further.
