HRD Ministry New Education Policy 2020: The quality of school education will also be reviewed every 5 years. Under the new policy, from 2022 onwards, recruitment of teachers will be regular only and no para teachers will be hired. The Union Ministry of Education will now formulate new rules towards reducing the burden of the syllabus of students and reducing the pressure of board examinations.

Under the new education policy, a target has been set to enroll 100 percent of the children in school education by 2030. For this, further changes will be made in the already successful and popular Mid-Day Meal Scheme. In schools, students will now be served lunch as well as breakfast. Children will also be given health cards based on their physical examination.
