Puri-Sonpur-Puri Express Train Time Table:Puri-Sonpur-Puri weekly express train has been flagged off by PM Narendra Modi in Odisha. Know the time table and routes.

Puri-Sonepur-Puri Express Train Time Table: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also flagged off the Puri-Sonepur-Puri Weekly Express in Odisha. During this, PM Modi said, ‘Subarnapur district i.e. our Sonpur district is being connected with rail connectivity today through Puri-Sonpur Express. This will make it easier for the devotees to have darshan of Lord Jagannath. In the last ten years, 12 times more budget has been given to Odisha for the development of railways than before.

The train will cover a distance of 542 km, know the complete time table

The Puri-Sonpur-Puri new rail service in Odisha will cover Puri, Khordha, Cuttack, Dhankanal, Sambalpur, Bargarh, Balangir and Subarnapur districts. Its length will be 542 kilometers. The train will leave from Puri every Thursday at 07.25 pm. It will reach Sonepur at 05.30 am on Friday. In return, this train will leave from Sonepur every Friday at 07.30 pm. It will reach Puri railway station at 06.55 am on Saturday.

Puri-Sonpur-Puri Express train will stop at these stations on the way

Puri-Sonpur-Puri train will stop at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Naraj Marthpur, Dhenkanel, Talcher, Angul, Boinda, Rairakhol, Sambhalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Bichupalli, Jhartarbha and Narsinghgarh railway stations en route. The Prime Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of railway projects worth approximately Rs 2146 crore. He laid the foundation stone for the redevelopment of Sambalpur Railway Station, whose architecture is inspired by Shailashree Palace.

PM Narendra Modi has also dedicated to the nation the Sambalpur-Talcher doubling railway line (168 km) and Jhartarbha to Sonpur new railway line (21.7 km) to increase the rail network capacity in the region.
