What is the route
The Pune-Bengaluru Expressway will start from Bommanal in Athani taluk in Karnataka. This expressway will pass through other districts including Belgaum, Nargund and Chitradurga. At the same time, it will pass through Pune, Sangli and Satara districts in Maharashtra.
15 hours journey in 7 hours
According to the report of Magic Bricks, the construction of 700 km long Pune-Bengaluru Expressway will reduce the distance between the two cities by 95 km, and the travel time will also be reduced from 15 hours to 7 hours.
This expressway has 22 interchanges, 55 flyovers and a 5 km long emergency runway, and trees have been planted on both sides of the road. Currently, travel between the two cities is done via NH-48, but passengers are very troubled by heavy traffic and long-distance on this highway.
