New feature added on Instagram reels, now users will be able to create videos like TikTok, Learn how it works

Instagram users can now “remix” the reel i.e. upload the video with another user. This feature has been the most famous feature of TikTok.

Instagram has now announced a new feature called Remix, regarding the Instagram reels offered as an alternative to the Chinese short-form video app TikTok. With this, users will get their own way on their reels platform and all the facilities to make it funny.

Instagram users can now “remix” a reel, which means they can upload a video next to another user. This feature has been the most famous feature of TikTok, you must have seen many videos related to it, which shows many things like dance, makeup, singing challenge. Now this feature will also work on Instagram.




The company said the remix feature allows users to create a reel as well as an existing reel, interactive tools such as questions in live rooms, polls and stories, and AR effects have always been a big part of how people connect on Instagram Huh.

How to use the remix feature

1.Tap the three-dot menu on the reel and choose “Remix This Reel”.
2.The screen will split into the original reel and your new reel, and now you can start recording your remix.
3.Your recording will be along with the original reel.
4.Once recorded, you can control the original audio, volume for your recorded audio, and also add a voiceover.

Only the new reels will automatically get the remix feature activated, but if you already have a reel that you want people to be able to remix, you can manually tap the three-dot menu on your video and select “Active remixing “.

Instagram Reels was launched last year

Tell that Instagram launched Reels in India in July 2020. The Facebook-owned application came with a short video feature after TikTok, which was extremely popular in India. Apparently, the Indian government has banned TikTok.

Since the launch of Reels last year, many features have been added to it. This includes increasing the recording time limit to 30 seconds, increasing the reverse counting timer to 10 seconds while recording, and adding options to trim and delete clips. Updates have also been made for audio features, where you can now save audio clips, share audio pages and browse trending songs.
