New Delhi. The month of September is bringing a full dose of entertainment on OTT platforms. Where many big films are ready for release which have already rocked the box office. From star debuts to action thrillers, viewers can now watch everything on streaming that they missed in theaters. A look at the five most awaited films coming this month.
Saiyaara
Directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara is a musical romantic drama with which Ahan Pandey and Anit Padda made their debut. The film became the second highest grossing film of 2025 so far, making a splash at the box office. Fans can now watch it on Netflix from September 12. It is possible that those scenes will also be shown in it which were removed by the censor board.
Coolie
Coolie: Written and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, it is a pan-Indian Tamil-language action thriller starring Rajinikanth in the lead role. The cast also includes Nagarjuna Akkineni, Shruti Haasan, Soubin Shahir, Sathyaraj, Upendra and Rachita Ram, while Aamir Khan and Pooja Hegde have cameos. After its theatrical release, the film will release on Amazon Prime Video on September 11.
Maalik
Directed by Pulkit and produced by Kumar Taurani and Jay Shewakramani, this action thriller stars Rajkummar Rao, Prosenjit Chatterjee and Manushi Chillar in the lead roles. Although the film performed average in theaters, it is expected that it will reach more and more viewers on streaming. The film will be released on Amazon Prime Video on September 5.
Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan
Produced by Zee Studios and Mini Films and directed by Santosh Singh, this romantic drama film stars Vikrant Massey and Shanaya Kapoor in the lead roles. This is Shanaya’s first big screen film and there is a lot of buzz about it. The film will be available for streaming on Zee5 on September 5.
Inspector Zende
Directed and written by Chinmay Mandlekar, this comedy thriller stars Manoj Bajpayee as Inspector ‘Madhukar Zende’ while Jim Sarbh plays ‘Carl Bhojraj’, inspired by the infamous serial killer Charles Sobhraj. Produced by Jay Shewakramani and Om Raut, the film will release on Netflix on September 5.
