Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat News: There is good news for the passengers traveling to Somnath. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently given the gift of a new Vande Bharat Express train to the people of Gujarat, which will run from Sabarmati (Ahmedabad) to Veraval (Somnath Temple). This train will cover a total distance of 438 km in just 7 hours, so that now devotees and tourists will be able to reach Somnath temple easily without any long fatigue.

This Vande Bharat train will be operated six days a week and this train will not run on Thursday. The timing of the train has been decided keeping in mind the convenience of the passengers. It will leave from Sabarmati at 5:25 am and reach Veraval at 12:25 pm. On the return, this train will leave from Veraval at 2:40 pm and will reach Sabarmati station again at 9:35 pm.

During the journey, the train will stop at five major stations including Viramgam, Surendranagar, Wankaner, Rajkot and Junagadh. This halt will not only be beneficial for local passengers but will also make the journey to Girnar mountain and other religious places easier.

Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat Express is equipped with modern facilities. It has options of AC chair car and executive chair car, which have comfortable seating, GPS-based passenger information system, automatic doors and better safety features.
With the launch of this train, Prime Minister Modi also inaugurated India’s first 9000 horsepower D-90 electric engine made in Dahod, which has been developed with indigenous technology under the Make in India initiative. Through this train, not only religious tourism will get a boost but the railway infrastructure of Gujarat will also get a new dimension. With the operation of Sabarmati-Veraval Vande Bharat Express, the journey to a holy place like Somnath will now become easier and more comfortable than ever.
