New Vande Bharat trains: PM Modi to flag off three new Vande Bharat trains from Kashi; see train schedule

New Vande Bharat trains: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Varanasi on November 7th for a two-day visit. He will inaugurate three Vande Bharat trains from his parliamentary constituency. After a night’s rest at the guest house in Bareka, he will leave on the morning of November 8th to address an election rally in Darbhanga. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) sent information about his arrival and planned programs to the district administration on Saturday.

According to preliminary information, after addressing a public meeting in Bihar, the Prime Minister will arrive at Babatpur Airport at around 5 pm. He will be received by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, State President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, and other senior public representatives and party officials. He will then arrive at the helipad in Bareka by an Army helicopter. After a brief rest, he will arrive at Varanasi station around 7:30 pm and flag off the Vande Bharat Express, which runs between Varanasi and Khajuraho.

He will also virtually inaugurate two other trains, running between Firozpur and Delhi and Lucknow and Saharanpur. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and Railway Board Chairman Satish Kumar are also expected to attend the event. District Magistrate Satyendra Kumar stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the Vande Bharat trains during his proposed two-day visit. After an overnight stay, he will depart for Bihar the next morning.

Journey from Varanasi to Khajuraho will be easier

The semi-high-speed Vande Bharat train will run from Varanasi to Khajuraho (Madhya Pradesh). This train will depart as an inaugural special from Varanasi station on the evening of November 7th. Significantly, this will be the eighth Vande Bharat Express to originate or pass through Varanasi.

The Railway Ministry released the schedule for the much-awaited Vande Bharat Express between Varanasi and Khajuraho on Friday night. According to preliminary information, the Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will depart from Varanasi station on November 7th at 7:25 pm. The train will operate six days a week (except Thursdays). It will have eight coaches, including one EC and seven CC coaches.

Timetable and Station Stops

According to a notification issued by the Railway Board, Train No. 26422 Varanasi-Khajuraho Vande Bharat Express will operate from Varanasi Junction (Cantonment). It will depart from Cantonment station at 5:25 am. It will arrive at Vindhyachal station at 6:55 am, Prayagraj Chheoki station at 8:00 am, Chitrakoot at 10:05 am, Banda station at 11:08 am, Mahoba at 12:08 pm, and Khajuraho at 1:10 pm. On the return journey, train number 26421 will depart from Khajuraho at 3 pm.

It will arrive in Mahoba at 4:18 pm, Banda at 5:13 pm, and Chitrakoot Dham station at 6:13 pm. It will arrive at Prayagraj Chheoki station at 8:20 pm and Vindhyachal at 9:10 pm. It will then arrive at Cantt station at 11 pm. However, the date of regular operation and fare notifications have not yet been released. It is expected that the full schedule for this semi-high-speed train will be released within a few days of its inauguration.
