Neemuch, J.N.N. Police is empty handed even after 30 hours in case of 11 year old child stealing Rs 10 lakh from Javad branch of District Cooperative Bank of Madhya Pradesh. On Wednesday, police searched the encampments of nomadic people in nearby villages and searched the dhabas. Efforts are on to find the child in different areas through CCTV footage.
It is to be known that the regular functioning of the bank started at around 11 am on Tuesday morning in the Javad branch of District Cooperative Bank Neemuch. Guard Ranjit Rathore kept 20 lakh rupees in a cashier’s cabin tied in a 500-500 deck. At the same time the cashier Danish Khan went to the chest to pick up the box.
Seeing the opportunity, an 11-year-old boy entered the cashier’s cabin and fell into two bags of 500-500 rupees notes in a bag and fell in just 17 seconds. Cashier Khan, who returned from the vault room, immediately informed the manager, LN Meena, that the money was missing. Meena herself reached the police station and lodged a report. It was revealed through CCTV footage that the 11-year-old boy carried out the incident in just 17 seconds.
Negligence of bank cashier too
Bank employees have also been exposed to great negligence. Normally the cashier’s cabin is always closed, if the cashier has to get out, he locks the cabin for two minutes. Despite the order of Collector Jitendra Singh Raje, the masks of those entering the bank were not removed and scanning was done.
