The construction of Noida International Airport is almost complete. UP Chief Secretary SP Goyal shared a new video of the airport. The terminal building, runway, cargo hold, ATC tower, navigation system, and high-tech machinery have been installed. The inauguration is expected soon.
A new update on the construction of Noida International Airport has emerged. Uttar Pradesh Chief Secretary SP Goyal shared a video of the airport’s progress on Twitter on Monday. The video shows that the airport is nearly complete and preparations for its inauguration are in full swing.
The Chief Secretary tweeted that construction of key areas at the airport, including the passenger terminal building, passenger boarding gates, domestic terminal, cargo terminal, and forecourt area, is nearly complete. The video also shows glimpses of the runway, taxiway, and passenger apron.

Escalators and several high-tech machines have been installed inside the airport. Modern equipment has also been installed in the cargo terminal and air traffic control tower. High-tech firefighting equipment and machinery have been deployed for emergency services.
The video shared by the Chief Secretary also provides information on the airport’s access roads, fuel tanks, operations center, water and sewage systems, checkpoints, e-gates, baggage handling system, and lounge facilities.
ATC tower, navigation, and radar systems are also in the final stages.
Navigation and radar systems have also been installed at the airport. EV charging stations have also been installed to prevent pollution. Currently, only the formalities related to the aerodrome license are in the final stages. The first phase of the airport has been developed on an area of 1,334 hectares. A successful trial landing of an IndiGo passenger plane was conducted in December 2024.
Only the formalities of obtaining an aerodrome license remain before the inauguration.
Following this, equipment testing was conducted using small aircraft in October 2025 and the first week of November. Upon inauguration, this will be Uttar Pradesh’s fifth international airport. YEIDA has also accelerated preparations to develop Sectors 8, 8D, 11, 4A, 5A, and 5 around the airport.
