The movement of passengers to Noida International Airport will be easy. For this, a one-lane busway is being constructed from Kisan Chowk to Sirsa in Greater Noida West. This busway will be 25 km long and the target is to complete it in one year. Passengers will be able to reach Noida Airport directly through the busway. They will not have to face traffic jams during the journey.
Infrastructure development is being done for smooth movement of passengers to Noida International Airport. A single lane busway is being constructed from Kisan Chowk in Greater Noida West to Eastern Peripheral Expressway in Sirsa.
Construction of busway has started from Greater Noida Authority office located at Knowledge Park 4 to Sirsa. Buses running to the airport will pass through the busway. This will keep the 130 meter wide road completely jam-free. The traffic pressure on it will not increase much.
Noida International Airport will start operating in Jewar from April. Work is going on at a fast pace for road connectivity. Passengers will travel to the airport through buses. In view of the possibility of increased pressure of vehicles on the roads due to the airport, a bus way project has been prepared in Greater Noida.
Stands will also be built on the bus way. From where passengers will be able to board and alight the bus. Facilities will be developed around it. There will also be a display at the bus stands. The location of the buses will be known online. Prabhat Shankar, Manager Project Department

What is the plan to connect with Yamuna Expressway?
Through the bus way, passengers will reach Sirsa via Greater Noida Authority office via Ek Murti, Tilpata from Greater Noida West. Where this bus way will join the Eastern Peripheral. An interchange is being built to connect the Eastern Peripheral to the Yamuna Expressway.
With this, passengers from Greater Noida West will be able to reach the airport directly. Buses going to the airport will go through the bus way instead of the 130 meter wide road. The target has been set to complete the project in one year. Its length will be about 25 km. This will be the first dedicated route for buses in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
Project department manager Prabhat Shankar said that stands will also be built on the bus way. From where passengers will be able to board and disembark the bus. Facilities will be developed around it. There will also be a display at the bus stands. The location of the buses will be known online.
Road construction started for cargo terminal connectivity
As soon as the road budget was approved by the state government, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has started road work for connectivity to the cargo terminal of Noida International Airport.
The authority team reached Karauli Bangar village with machines on Friday and started the work of leveling the land by removing the crops of the farmers coming in the way of the road. This action took place for about four hours.
A 30 meter wide and 8 km long road is being built for connectivity of Noida airport’s cargo terminal with Yamuna Expressway. This road will be built in the north and east direction along the boundary wall of the airport.

NHAI had given an estimate of 235.70 crores for this to Yamuna Authority, in comparison to the estimate sent by Yamuna Authority to the Finance Department of the government, an expenditure of 196.79 crores was approved.
