Noida International Airport Inaugration: Earlier on Tuesday, officials from Noida International Airport met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The meeting was led by airport Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Christoph Schnellmann. According to officials, only security clearance remains before the airport can begin operations.
The people of Noida will soon receive a significant gift. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is reportedly set to inaugurate the city’s first international airport on March 26th. The date for the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Gautam Buddha Nagar, has been finalized. Prior to this, officials from Noida International Airport met with Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday. The meeting was led by the airport’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Christoph Schnellmann.
News18 quoted sources as saying that discussions are ongoing between the central and state governments. The inauguration of Noida International Airport is expected to take place on March 26th, the festival of Ram Navami during Navratri. Prime Minister Narendra Modi may inaugurate the airport.
During the meeting, officials presented the Chief Minister with the aerodrome license issued by the central government for Noida International Airport. Officials stated that this is one of the most important regulatory approvals required before the airport can be operational.
Only security clearance remains
According to officials, only security clearance remains before the airport can begin operations. The airport’s aerodrome security program is currently pending approval from the Bureau of Civil Aviation Security.
Flights to commence as soon as security clearance is granted
Officials stated that once security clearance is granted, the airport’s opening date and the start of commercial flights will be announced.
It is reported that once Noida International Airport opens, it will be one of the largest airports in North India and will also reduce air traffic pressure in Delhi-NCR.
