Following the successful operation of the Delhi-Meerut section, the Namo Bharat RRTS project will soon connect the Gurugram-Faridabad-Noida corridor. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced this on Wednesday, stating that the final alignment for this new route has been approved. The project will be approximately 61 kilometers long and will include six stations. The estimated cost is estimated at approximately ₹15,000 crore.

The route will begin at IFFCO Chowk.

The new route will begin at IFFCO Chowk in Gurugram, which is also the station for the Namo Bharat train from Delhi to Bawal. By connecting the two routes at IFFCO Chowk, passengers will be able to easily access both routes. The train will then travel via Brigadier Usman Chowk, Bata Chowk in Faridabad, and Sectors 85-86 to reach Sector 142 in Noida. From Noida, the route will continue to Surajpur and connect with the route from Ghaziabad to Jewar. With the launch of this new corridor, the journey from Noida to Gurugram will take only 38 minutes, reducing both travel time and travel stress for passengers.

Full details of the new stations

  • Gurugram: IFFCO Chowk and Brigadier Usman Chowk
  • Faridabad: Bata Chowk and Sectors 85-86
  • Noida: Sector 142 (there will also be an Aqua Line link)
  • Surajpur (Greater Noida): Connectivity to the Jewar-Ghaziabad route

Easy connectivity to all NCR cities

Once the new route is fully operational, passengers will enjoy fast and convenient travel to any major city in the NCR. Once connected to the other two Namo Bharat routes, the network will fully cover the entire NCR. Experts say this high-speed corridor will not only reduce travel time but also reduce traffic congestion and road time.
