How to apply for One Nation One Ration Card

  • This inquiry is completed within 30 days of applying.
  • If the investigation is found correct, the ration card is issued within 30 days

One Nation – One Ration Card Scheme implemented 
 Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the central government has implemented the One Nation-One Ration Card scheme. Nobody sleeps hungry in the country, therefore, the migrant can take ration from the ration depot of any state with the help of this card. By August 2020, this system will be applicable throughout the country. In the One Nation, One Ration Card Scheme, any citizen living in the country will have only one ration card. He will be able to take ration from anywhere. The benefit of this scheme will be given to those who have ration card. Ration card holders will be able to buy grain at a lower price from government ration shops in any part of the country.  

Provision of 5-5 kg ​​of rice and wheat per person
The Finance Minister said that those who do not have ration card or any card will also be given the help of 5 kg of wheat, rice and one kg of gram. The government will spend Rs 3,500 crore for 8 crore migrant laborers to provide ration facilities. This provision has been made for those who do not come in the National Food Security, or who do not get the ration card of the states. You will get 5-5 kg ​​of wheat or rice per person. This process will continue for the next two months.

The biggest advantage of this scheme is that people will now be able to buy rations from other states as well. This rule will be implemented throughout the country.

  • The system of connecting all ration cards to the Aadhar card and distributing food grains through the Point of Sale, PoS machine will start soon.
  • 85 percent of Aadhaar cards have been connected to point of sale (POS) machines.
  • 100 percent POS machines have been installed in 22 states.
It was told by the Finance Ministry that a provision of Rs 3500 crore was made for rationing the laborers. The Central Government will bear the entire expenditure. The Finance Minister said that 63 lakh loans were sanctioned for the agricultural sector at the time of corona virus, amounting to Rs 86,600 crore. Between March 1 and April 30, 2020
