But sometimes it is also seen that on changing jobs, our second PF account is opened and the amount of EPF is deposited by the company in that new account. If you want to transfer the amount deposited in different PF accounts to the same PF account, then you can do it very easily online. EPFO has also explained the step by step process of online EPF transfer process through its official Twitter account for the convenience of PF account holders. So let’s know about this whole process.
What is step by step process
For EPF transfer through online mode, first you have to visit Unified Member Portal https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberinterface/. After this, you have to log in using your UAN and password. After this step, you have to go to the option of online service and select the option of One Member-One EPF Account. After this process, you will have to verify your personal information related to the current employment and your PF account. After which you will have to go to the Get Details option where you will see the complete details of the PF account associated with your previous job.
After this process, you will have to choose between the previous employer and the current employer to verify your form. After this step you have to click on Get OTP option to get OTP on the number registered with UAN. After which an OTP will come on your registered mobile number, after entering which you have to click on submit. After following this complete process, your EPF will be transferred online.
