Pakistan LPG Price: Pakistan’s economic health is deteriorating day by day. Such news is coming which shows that people are living with great difficulty. Inflation has broken the back of the people. Food items have become very expensive.

Actually, the month of Ramzan is going on. On this occasion, there are reports of LPG shortage in many cities of Pakistan. Despite expensive LPG, people are facing difficulties in preparing food (Sehri) due to the shortage of supply. According to the reports, gas supply was claimed by the gas companies, but complaints of shortage are coming in many cities.

Let us tell you, on the first day of Sehri, there were reports of complete stoppage of gas supply in many cities including Karachi and Rawalpindi. People have complained that Sui Northern Gas Company (SNGPL) and Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) have failed to supply gas.

If we talk about the price of LPG, then you will be shocked to hear it. In Pakistan, the most 11.67 kg LPG cylinder is used in homes, which costs 3000-3500 Pakistani rupees (PKR). Whereas in India, the price of a 14 kg cylinder is around Rs 800. In such a situation, it can be estimated how much inflation is there in Pakistan and how troubled the people are.

Not only this, in December 2025, the average price of a cylinder in Pakistan was recorded at Rs 3400. The most expensive cylinder was Rs 3500 in February-2024, while the lowest price of 11.67 kg cylinder was in June-2020, at that time the price of the cylinder was Rs 1218.

In Pakistan, cooking is as expensive as buying food items. If you compare it with India, you will be surprised, what has happened in Pakistan. Where will this inflation stop? Every food item has become expensive. At first, you will not believe hearing that a liter of milk is available in Pakistan for Rs 226 (PKR).

These are the prices of food items during Ramadan in Pakistan

Milk- Rs 226
Tomato- Rs 164
Potato- 107 kg
Rice- Rs 341 per kg
Chicken- Rs 788 per kg
Orange- Rs 214 kg
Price of beer (500 ml)- Rs 799

Not only this, electronic products are also many times more expensive than in India. The 40 inch television (Flat Screen TV) which is easily available in India for Rs 20,000, its price in Pakistan is around Rs 61,383. You will be stunned to hear the price of bikes and cars, the Maruti Alto which is priced between Rs 4 to 5 lakh in India, the same Alto is priced up to Rs 30 lakh (PKR) in Pakistan.

As far as salary is concerned, Pakistan’s employment crisis is also at its peak. But the average monthly salary of those who are in jobs is Rs 52000 (PKR). That is, the average salary of those who have jobs in Pakistan is Rs 52 thousand. In such a situation, you can imagine how those people are living their lives in this inflation, who do not have employment, and even those who have employment, the inflation is so much that it is becoming difficult for them to save, let alone manage the household expenses.
