Malaysia’s tourism sector will get a boost

Before the pandemic, 15 lakh people from China and 3 lakh 54 thousand 486 people from India had gone to Malaysia in the same period of 2019. This move by Malaysia has been implemented to boost their important tourism sector and stimulate their sluggish economy.

Chinese and Indian citizens are also among those who got exemption this year. Currently, Chinese and Indian citizens have to apply for a visa to enter Malaysia.
