Passport Office: Applicants visiting the Regional Passport Office in Gomtinagar to resolve their issues will need to make an appointment on Monday, October 27th. The Passport Department has requested applicants without an appointment not to visit the Gomtinagar office on Monday, October 27th.
In fact, after submitting a passport application, applicants must visit the Regional Passport Office in Gomtinagar to resolve various issues and formalities, including date of birth, pending court cases, incorrect police verification reports, change of police station, and NOC. This office issues 80 appointments daily.
These appointments are available on the Passport Department’s website. Additionally, approximately 500 applicants also come without prior appointments. After filling out the form, information related to their problems and inquiries is provided on the spot.
Many officers and employees of the Passport Department will be on leave on Monday for the Chhath festival. Consequently, the Passport Department will conduct all its work on Monday using only the available resources.
