How can you submit a life certificate?
Senior citizens can submit their life certificates by visiting their bank, submitting them through a post office, or submitting them through an authorized pension agency. Furthermore, life certificates can also be submitted online.

Many elderly people are unable to go out to submit their life certificates. Such individuals can also complete their work online. There are two ways to submit life certificates online: face authentication and Aadhaar-based digital life certificates.
Submitting Life Certificates through Face Verification –
If you also want to submit your life certificate through face verification, follow the steps below:
1. Download the Life Certificate application on your mobile phone. After that, enter all your personal details, such as your mobile number, Aadhaar number, and email address, into the Life Certificate app.
First, download the Life Certificate application on your mobile phone.
2. Then, enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number or email address.
3. After OTP verification, the app will display the face scan option. Click “Yes.”
4. Click “I’m Aware” and the scan will begin.
5. After completing the above process, your life certificate will be submitted along with the PPO number and ID.
You can also submit your life certificate through Aadhaar verification.
1. If you wish to submit your life certificate through Aadhaar, you must visit the official website www.jeevanpramaan.gov.in and download the Digital Life Certificate app from there.
2. Now enter all your personal information, such as your Aadhaar number and bank account number.
3. You will need to complete biometric verification, which you can do at your nearest Common Service Center, government office, or bank branch.
4. If the person is already enrolled in the system, they will only need to provide their Aadhaar number and the digital life certificate will be updated.
5. Once the digital life certificate is submitted, you will receive a Unit ID code on your registered mobile number, which you can use to download the life certificate.
