Residency and employment opportunity
This program allows people to live, reside, and work in a specific province or territory. A permanent resident (PR) is a person who has been granted PR status by immigrating to Canada but is not a Canadian citizen. PRs are usually citizens of other countries. Provincial Nominee Programs (PNP) in Canada allow provinces and territories to select immigrants for permanent residence. There are different areas of PNP in Canada.
