Petrol Price Updates: Petrol Price Beyond Rs 100! Petroleum Minister said…

The prices of Petrol and Diesel Price in the country were seen at their all-time high on Saturday. Talking about Rajasthan, the price of petrol has reached about hundred rupees here. Petrol price has been increased to Rs 97.76 per liter in Sriganganjar in the state, while extra premium is being available to customers for Rs 101.51. This is the highest in the country. Let us tell you that companies have done the price increase for the fourth time this week.




Petroleum marketing companies have done an increase in vehicle fuel prices for the fourth time this week. According to the price notification of petroleum marketing companies, prices of both petrol and diesel have been increased by 25 paise per liter on Saturday.

After this increase, petrol has reached Rs 85.70 per liter in Delhi and Rs 92.28 per liter in Mumbai. Diesel has been increased to Rs 75.88 per liter in the national capital and Rs 82.66 per liter in Mumbai. Vehicle fuel prices have been increased for the second consecutive day. This week, the price of vehicle fuel has been increased by four rupees per liter. Due to local sales tax or value added tax (VAT), there is a difference in vehicle fuel prices in different states. Currently, the price of auto fuel in the country is at its all-time high.

Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan earlier this week blamed the crude oil production cut by Saudi Arabia for the increase in vehicle fuel prices. Public sector petroleum marketing companies Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corporation (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL) resumed daily revision in vehicle prices from January 6. Earlier, there was no change in vehicle fuel prices for about a month. Since then, petrol has been costlier by Rs 1.99 per liter and diesel by Rs 2.01 per liter.
