PhonePe overtakes Google Pay in December, becomes top mobile UPI App

In December, PhonePe has overtaken GooglePay. According to data released by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), in December, PhonePe made 90.20 crore transactions worth Rs 1,82,126,88 crore.

New Delhi: In December, PhonePe has overtaken GooglePay. According to data released by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), in December, PhonePe made 90.20 crore transactions worth Rs 1,82,126,88 crore. With this transaction, it has become the first UPI app. Let me tell you that the phone is a digital payment company owned by Walmart. Apart from this, Google Pay app has been on the second number.




85.44 crore transactions worth Rs. 1,76,199,33 crore have been done on Google Pay. Let us tell you that in December, the total transaction has been 2,234,16 million. According to the data, 86% UPI transaction of both the companies has been done, in which Rs. 4,16,176,21 crore was transacted.

If you join Paytm Payments Bank

Phone Pay and Google Pay at the third place, then both of them have a total market share of 75 percent as compared to all UPI apps. Paytm Payments Bank has got the third place here which has done 261.09 million transactions. Its total value is Rs 31,299.78 crore, while the market share is 11.7 percent. According to NPCI data,

This app, which is at number four and five
