After investigation, their applications were canceled. At the same time, 430 applicants are not providing the necessary documents even after repeated requests.
The Municipal Corporation is no longer ready to give them time. Their applications will also be canceled. Let us tell you that in the third phase, applications were invited by the Municipal Corporation in the year 2023 to give the benefit of the housing scheme.
At that time 973 people had applied to avail the benefits of the scheme. Applications are being examined for a long time. Now according to the report that has come out, only 343 out of 973 applications have been found correct. The process of giving them the benefit of the scheme is going on.
Application was sought again:
When applications were sought again in January this year, 1128 people had submitted applications. Now they are being investigated. Housing Scheme Incharge Rozi Masih said that 1710 houses have been built so far under this scheme in the city area. All the beneficiaries who have built houses have been given the amount of all four installments.
Apart from this, some beneficiaries have not received the amount of the second and third installments. They will also be given the remaining amount as soon as the house construction work is completed.
86 beneficiaries are not building houses even after taking the first and second installments:
The Municipal Corporation has sent notices to 86 beneficiaries who did not build houses after taking the first and second installments of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Housing Scheme in-charge Rozi Masih said that the process has been started to recover the allotted amount from the beneficiaries who did not complete the construction of the house even after the notice. Legal action will also be taken against them.
