When will farmers receive their 2000 rupees?
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will transfer money to the bank accounts of farmers benefiting from the PM Kisan Yojana tomorrow, March 13th. An amount of 2000 rupees will be deposited into the accounts of all beneficiary farmers on March 13th. On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 22nd installment of the scheme into the accounts of farmers across the country from Guwahati, Assam.
More than ₹5 crore will be released.
On this occasion, ₹5.63 crore will be transferred directly to the bank accounts of 28,145 farmers in the Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur district through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). The central government provides this amount to farmers to provide financial assistance for agricultural work. They use this money to meet essential farming expenses.
Farmers should complete their e-KYC.
Farmers receiving benefits under this scheme are urged to complete their e-KYC to reap the benefits. Furthermore, they should also link their bank accounts with their Aadhaar cards. Failure to do so may result in delays. If you are a PM Kisan beneficiary, you can contact your nearest Public Service Center (CSC), Kisan Choice Center, or Block-level Rural Agriculture Extension Officer for all these procedures.
Conditions for PM Kisan Scheme Beneficiaries
- Farmers must fulfill certain requirements to receive benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN). Let’s explore these requirements.
- The farmer must have cultivable land up to 2 hectares, and his or her name must be registered in the land records.
- To benefit from this scheme, it is mandatory to have a bank account linked to the Aadhaar card.
- To avail the benefits of this scheme, all farmers must complete the e-KYC process on the PM Kisan portal.
- First, keep in mind that the ₹2,000 installment is sent directly through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer), so the bank account must be active and valid.
- Only one person in each family, including the husband, wife, and minor children, will be eligible for the scheme.

The central government has also introduced a facial recognition-based mobile app, allowing farmers to complete their eKYC from the comfort of their homes, without the need for an OTP or biometric device. Furthermore, the ministry’s artificial intelligence-based voice chatbot, “Kisan-eMitra,” provides round-the-clock support in 11 regional languages and has so far resolved millions of farmers’ queries.
The government provides ₹6,000 annually.
Over 21.5 million women farmers are among the beneficiaries receiving the 22nd installment. Under this scheme, eligible farmer families are given an amount of ₹6,000 per year in three equal installments, deposited directly into their bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system. With the release of this installment, the total amount disbursed under PM-KISAN will exceed ₹4.27 lakh crore.
