The government issues a list of all the beneficiaries of Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. The farmers who are named in this list only get this installment. Under this scheme announced in the budget of 2019, the government deposits 6000 rupees in the account of every eligible farmer 3 times a year at the rate of 2000 thousand rupees. So far, the government has released 7 installments. The last installment was released in December 2020. Now from April 1, the eighth installment of 2000 rupees is coming in the farmers’ account. Thus with the 8th installment, farmers will get 16000 rupees.

The installment of many farmers is either hanging or the payment has failed. On December 25 last year, the Modi government had put Rs 18000 crore as installment in the accounts of 9 crore farmers.

  • Go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section at the top right of the website and click on ‘Beneficiary Status’
  • Select one of the Aadhaar number, bank account number or mobile number on the page shown here. With the help of these three numbers, you can check whether you have received the amount under PM Kisan or not.
  • Fill in the option you have chosen from these three numbers.

At number three is Maharashtra, where the 7th installment sent to the accounts of 25517 farmers has not arrived.
