PM Kisan Maan Dhan Pension Scheme: This scheme, which provides pension for farmers, can be invested from Rs 55 to Rs 200 a month. After this age of 60, farmers get pension on this contribution. Under the scheme, a pension of 3 thousand rupees a month or 36 thousand rupees per annum.
However, how much pension will be received and how much will be contributed depends on the age at which the investment is being made. If you join at the age of 18, then the monthly contribution will be Rs 55 or Rs 660 annually. On depositing Rs 660 annually, you can get pension of 36 thousand rupees per year. At the same time, if you join at the age of 40, then you have to contribute Rs 200 per month or Rs 2400 annually.
Applications can be made by visiting the Common Service Center (CSC). However, for this you will have to take some documents with you. These include a copy of Aadhaar Card and Khasra-Khatauni, 2 passport size photographs for registration and bank passbook. The special thing is that farmers do not have to pay any separate charge on applying for this scheme. After registration, the farmer pension unique number and pension card is given.
