According to the data, in the PM Kisan Yojana, more than 23 hundred crore rupees have been released to about 33 lakh farmers who did not fall under the purview of the scheme. After which the rules were changed.
new Delhi. The rules related to Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have been changed. In fact, the benefit of the scheme has also been given to many farmers who were not eligible to get the benefit of this scheme, after which the government has changed the rules.
What has happened in the rules
Under the change of rules, the new registration farmer will also have to show the ownership of his farm. They will also have to mention the plot number of the land in their application form. If a farmer is cultivating the joint land of the family, then he must first get his share of land in his name, only after showing the ownership, the scheme will get the benefit. Under the scheme, farmers are being given an amount of Rs 6000 annually.
Which farmers will be affected by the new rules
The impact of the new rules will be on the farmers who are getting new registration to take advantage of the scheme. This step will not affect the farmers who have already benefited from the scheme. If a farmer is cultivating his father or grandfather’s land, then he will not get a chance to register new in the scheme. With this, the farmer who takes farm on rent will not get the benefit of the scheme. That is, only the owner of the farm will be able to take advantage of this scheme.
Who else is outside the scope of the plan
The government has also made changes in the rules earlier, under which farmers coming under the tax net will not be able to take advantage of the scheme. Such farmers who are in constitutional post also will not get the benefit of the scheme. Pensioners receiving monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 have also been excluded from the purview of benefits.
