A mistake in the PM-Kisan scheme records can also prevent your money. More than 47 lakh farmers are suffering from such mistakes.
New Delhi. New disturbances are now coming out about the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme (PM-Kisan Scheme). So far, the state governments have withheld payment of 47,05,837 farmers under this scheme. He says that the record of these farmers is either doubtful or there is a difference in the spelling of the name of Aadhaar and bank account. At the same time, according to an official of the Ministry of Agriculture (Agriculutre Ministry), there has been a big flaw in the names, mobile numbers and bank account numbers of the applicants. Apart from this, there are many reasons, due to which the payment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme is not being received in the account of these farmers.
Due to some of these accounts being invalid, their payment has been temporarily withheld. However, the account number given by some applicants is not present in the bank. In many states, corruption cases have also come up regarding this scheme. According to the officials of the Union Agriculture Ministry, it is the responsibility of the states to identify the eligible farmer families under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme. Because it is a state subject, the work of verification of revenue records is with the states. According to the records of agriculture, the state government has to decide who is a farmer and who is not. The Central Government gives 6000 rupees on whose records the state government stamps.
What is the way to send money
To help the farmers, the central government sends a total of 6000 rupees a year to their account under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. It is a 100 percent central government funded scheme. But the revenue record has to be verified by the states because it is a state subject. When state governments verify the data of their farmers and send them to the center, then money is sent. The central government does not send direct money. It has been told that based on the data sent by the states, the money first goes to the accounts of the states. After that money reaches the farmers from the account of the state.
Scam regarding PM farmer scheme
Recently, after the scam in Tamil Nadu in this scheme, the Center has made it clear that it is the job of the states to identify the farmers. On the other hand, strictness has started on the scamsters, so that it does not happen again in any state. The Crime Branch CID of Tamil Nadu has registered 10 cases related to this scam and 16 accused have been detained in this case. District and block level PM Kisan Login ID has been disabled. In this case, an amount of Rs 47 crore has been recovered so far. It has been reported that some employees jointly withdrew Rs 110 crore online from this fund.
