PMAY: One lakh families in this state will fulfill their dream of home

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-PMAY: Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will get one lakh beneficiaries to enter the new house through virtual program.

Bhopal :
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-PMAY) in Madhya Pradesh (MP )Under the scheme, one lakh beneficiaries are going to get accommodation, these beneficiaries are going to enter their new house on Tuesday. Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan will get one lakh beneficiaries to enter the new house through virtual programs. Besides, in the ‘Home-Entry’ program, Union Minister Shah and Chief Minister Chouhan will also hold virtual dialogue with the beneficiaries. This is the second major event in the state under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme to house such a large number. Earlier on 12 September 2020, Prime Minister Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) had made two lakh beneficiaries of the state go home. Under the scheme, more than three lakh houses were constructed in the state to deal with the challenges of Corona. By the way, 18 lakh rural families have been provided accommodation in the state so far.

Maximum time for completion of residences is 12 months
Under the scheme, the unit cost of the house is given as one lakh 20 thousand in the plain districts and one lakh 30 thousand rupees in the remote areas without remote access, in the form of 100 percent grant in the form of installments based on the progress of the house construction work. Huh. Along with the house, clean toilets are also constructed. Beneficiary gets LPG under Ujjwala scheme Gas connection is also provided. One lakh twenty thousand beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, who are being admitted to the house, were transferred more than 12 hundred crores in their accounts with the value of one lakh twenty thousand. The maximum time to complete the houses is 12 months, but these houses have been completed in a very short period of time during the challenging time of Kovid-19, whereas at the national level the completion period of the houses is 114 days. This plan has converted disaster into opportunity in real sense.

The Narendra Modi (Narendra Modi) government of the Center had decided to form a special unit for effective monitoring of the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-PMAY (Urban). The proposal in this regard was called by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on 19 September. According to this, the Program Management Unit will provide assistance to the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana under the target of Housing for All by 2022.
