PNB Alert: Turn off your ATM card before sleeping, no one will be able to steal your money

PNB Debit Card Enable-disable feature: You can keep your debit card secure at your convenience. If you do not want to go to the ATM. You can also use this feature while sitting at your home.




Debit Card Enable-disable feature: It has become very important to protect digital transactions amidst increasing incidents of digital fraud or cyber fraud. Nowadays, most people do not walk with a cash pass, but rather make a digital payment. If it is necessary to withdraw cash, then withdraw it from the ATM as per the requirement. When you do not remember where you have kept your debit card or if it is lost somewhere… then this feature is of great use to you. You can disable your debit card. When you get your debit card, enable it again. This feature is of great use even in the event of the purse being lost or stolen, including the debit card.

How can you use this feature?

You have different options to disable or enable the debit card. You can do this through mobile or net banking or by going to the nearest PNB ATM. You can use this feature. We are telling you the complete process here.

How to enable / disable debit card through ATM?

Insert your debit card in the nearest ATM machine.

Select the language in the banking option and go to the next page.

There will be an option of card services on the top left side here.

After selecting this, the option of Enable / Disable is to be choosen.

You will see many options here.

Such as – Domestic Use Enable / Disable, International Use Enable / Disable or Both Use Enable / Disable

You have to choose from these and click on submit.

The message of ‘Successful’ will be shown on the screen.

If you have disabled the debit card, you can enable it the next time. At your convenience, you can keep your debit card secure through this feature. But if you do not want to go to the ATM. If you do not want to get out of your house and want to use the Enable / Disable feature of your debit card at home, then Internet banking is a great option.

This is the process through net banking

Login to PNB’s net banking site.

Click on debit card option here.

You will get this option in Value Added Services.

In this, select the option Enable / Disable.

Select your account number on the next page.

Now submit by entering the card number, expiry date, card PIN here.

Now you have to choose options on the next page.

Domestic Use Enable / Disable, International Use Enable / Disable, Both…

On submission, OTP will come on your registered mobile. Submit it

The Debit Card Preferences will send the message of updated success.

You can use this feature by adopting almost similar processes in PNB’s mobile app . After login into the app, you have to choose the debit card option. Then there will be the option of Enable / Disable in the next step. Here you can use it with security code.
