UP Police Constable Exam Date 2026: A major update for those awaiting the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Examination. The UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has announced the written exam dates for the 2025 direct recruitment for Constable Civil Police and other equivalent positions. According to a notice issued by the board on February 3, the exam will be held in June. This recruitment process will fill a total of 32,679 Constable and Jail Warder positions in the UP Police.
The notice states, “This information is being provided for the benefit of candidates. All candidates are requested to regularly visit the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow’s website, http://uppbpb.gov.in, for further information and instructions.”
UP Constable Recruitment Exam Dates
According to the UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, the written exam will be conducted over three days. The board has stated that the exam will be conducted in two shifts each day. The proposed exam dates are as follows:
- June 8, 2026, Monday
- June 9, 2026, Tuesday
- June 10, 2026, Wednesday
UP Police Constable Selection Process
The UP Police Constable recruitment process consists of two stages: a written exam and a physical test. A medical examination is also conducted during the physical test. Candidates’ documents are also verified.
Constable Recruitment Exam Pattern
The UP Constable Recruitment written exam will be for 300 marks, consisting of questions on General Hindi, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude, Mental Aptitude, Intelligence Quotient, and Reasoning Ability. The exam consists of 150 questions. The paper is two hours long. All questions will be objective type.
