India Post, which we know as the Post Office, offers many savings schemes. These include Savings Account, Recurring Deposit Account (RD), Public Provident Fund (PPF), Kisan Vikas Patra, Monthly Income Scheme Account (MIS), Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana, Fixed Deposit Account and Senior Citizen Savings Scheme (SCSS). Customers also get ATM-cum-debit cards with savings accounts with fixed withdrawal limits. According to the official website of India Post, a savings account can be opened by paying a minimum of Rs 20.

1. Customers have to pay charges for transactions at Post Office Bank ATMs like ATM services of other banks after the limit of free transaction is exhausted.

2. With the ATM card of the Post Office Savings Account, you can withdraw up to Rs 25,000 in a day.

3. You can withdraw cash up to Rs 10,000 in a single transaction.

4. A total of three free transactions are available on cash withdrawal from ATMs of other banks in metro cities.

5. Except metro cities, five free transactions are available in any other city.

6. After the free transaction limit is over, customers are charged money for both financial and non-financial transactions.




7. After the limit of free transaction at ATMs of other banks is exhausted, customers have to pay Rs 20 plus GST charge per transaction.

8. The post office also provides free transaction facility to all the customers from the ATM of Punjab National Bank.
