There will be a public holiday in MP on 7 June. During this time, there will be a holiday in colleges, banks and all government offices. According to the list of Madhya Pradesh government, holiday has been declared on 7 June due to Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid).

Banks will remain closed for many days in June

1 June (Sunday) – Weekly holiday – All banks closed

6 June (Friday) – Eid-ul-Azha (Bakrid) – Banks closed only in Kerala

27 June (Friday) – Rath Yatra / Kang (Rathjatra) – Banks closed in Odisha and Manipur

28 June (Saturday) – Fourth Saturday – All banks closed

29 June (Sunday) – Weekly holiday – All banks closed

30 June (Monday) – Remna Ni – Banks closed in Mizoram

68 optional holidays declared

The Madhya Pradesh government has declared 68 optional holidays this time in the official calendar of holidays for the year 2025. Every government employee will be given three days leave as per their wish out of 68 optional holidays, no more than that will be given.
