The Haryana government has taken a major step towards women’s empowerment and has accelerated preparations for the successful implementation of the “Deen Dayal Lado Laxmi Yojana.” To ensure that the scheme’s launch is smooth, the government has even canceled public holidays. Officials will now be present in their offices even on holidays.
Public Holidays: According to a government order, officials from the Citizen Resource Information Department (CRID), Social Welfare Department, and Health Department will work on September 22nd and 23rd, even though these are public holidays. The Revenue Department has also been given special instructions. The government states that negligence in the scheme’s implementation will not be tolerated. All officials and employees must complete their responsibilities on time to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach the public without delay.
State-level launch to be held in Panchkula
The trial phase of the ‘Lado Laxmi Yojana’ has already been successful, with no complaints reported. It will now be formally launched on September 25th at a state-level event in Panchkula. Anupama and Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Sudhir Rajpal are regularly holding review meetings with District Magistrates via video conferencing. Registration is free, and eligible women will not have to pay any money. If anyone demands money from them, they can directly file a complaint with the police or the women’s helpline.
