Train number 22309 UP will leave from Howrah at 7.45 am. It will reach Bolpur Shanti Niketan at 9.13 am, Rampurhat station at 10 am, Dumka at 11.05, Nonihat at 11.32, Hansdiha at 11.50, Mandarhill at 12.12, Barahat at 12.30, Bhagalpur at 1.15 pm and Jamalpur at 2.15 pm.
Vande Bharat Express train number 22310 down will leave from Jamalpur at 3.30 pm. It will reach Bhagalpur at 4.22, Barahat at 5.02, Mandarhill at 5.16, Hansdiha at 5.38, Nonihat at 5.53, Dumka at 6.25, Rampur Hat at 7.18, Bolpur Shanti Niketan at 7.56 and Howrah at 10.05.
Strict action will now be taken on Vikramshila bridge jam
This time the administration has taken a strict stand to provide relief to the pilgrims and the general public from the massive jam on Vikramshila bridge. Senior officials have clearly instructed that if there is a jam situation on the bridge now, then the responsibility of the concerned officials will be fixed and action will be taken against them.
In fact, for the past few days, there have been long queues of vehicles on Vikramshila Setu, causing great trouble to devotees, Kanwariyas and common passengers. In view of this, additional police force has now been deployed at both ends of the bridge and at major intersections. The administration has directed the traffic DSP to monitor the traffic 24 hours a day.
The DSP and his team will visit the bridge at any time and inspect the situation and immediate steps will be taken as soon as there is a possibility of jam. Apart from this, emergency services like ambulance and tow-van are also being provided on the bridge, so that immediate assistance can be given in case of vehicle breakdown or other emergency situations. This entire campaign is being run with the aim of ensuring smooth and safe traffic during the Shravani fair.
