Rain Alert: There will be heavy rain in these states in the next 24 hours, know when the rain will subside

IMD Rainfall Alert: Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh during the next 24 hours. However, it will decrease after this, which will bring relief. The Meteorological Department has said that heavy to very heavy rains are likely to continue in Northeast and adjoining East India during the next seven days. Extremely heavy rains are likely at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh on August 8. Apart from this, light rains will occur in Central India and Rajasthan during the next six to seven days.

Talking about North India, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh will receive heavy rains from August 6 to 12, Jammu and Kashmir on August 6, Punjab on August 6 and 12, Haryana on August 6, 11 and 12, Western Uttar Pradesh on August 6, 8, 11 and 12, Eastern Uttar Pradesh on August 8, 11 and 12. Very heavy rain is expected in Uttarakhand on August 6 and Eastern Uttar Pradesh on August 12. For the next seven days, there is a possibility of thunderstorms and lightning along with rain at many places in the Western Himalayan region and at some places in the plains.

Talking about South India, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Telangana, Rayalaseema will receive heavy rains at different places from August 6 to 9. Tamil Nadu, Kerala, northern interior Karnataka are going to receive very heavy rains on August 6 and coastal and southern interior Karnataka on August 6 and 7. Apart from this, talking about Northeast India, Arunachal Pradesh is likely to receive extremely heavy rains at different places on August 8. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura are going to receive light to moderate rains in many areas between August 6 and 12.

At the same time, the body of one of the many people missing in the debris due to heavy rains in Dharali area of Uttarkashi in Uttarakhand on Tuesday was recovered by relief and rescue teams on Wednesday morning. Various relief teams have also reached the spot. Apart from most of the routes to reach the affected area, various routes of the district are also blocked. It is currently closed after continuous rain in the area since morning. This has eased the rescue operation a bit. According to District Magistrate Prashant Arya, a total of 10 persons have been reported missing so far due to the rising water level in Dharali Khirgad. While the body of Akash Panwar (32) son of Mahavir Singh Panwar, resident of village Dharali, Uttarkashi has been recovered this morning. He said that at present the water level of Khirgad, Sukki Top, Awana Dhyagad is below the danger level.
