Rain Alert: There will be rain in these states on 27 and 28 February, know the condition of other states too

Weather Update: A new Western Disturbance will knock on the night of 24 February. Due to this, there will be rain in western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan on 27 and 28 February and in eastern Uttar Pradesh on 28 February.

Weather Update: The temperature is steadily increasing across the country. Meanwhile, a new Western Disturbance is about to arrive, due to which it will rain in many states including Uttar Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has said that a new Western Disturbance will knock on the night of 24 February. Due to this there will be rain in Western Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan on 27 and 28 February and in Eastern Uttar Pradesh on 28 February. At the same time, a rain alert has been issued for Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh on 26-28 February. Apart from this, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand are also going to receive rain on 25 and 26 February.

According to the Meteorological Department, warning of rain and thunderstorm has been issued in Odisha, Gangetic West Bengal on February 22 and 23, Jharkhand on February 22, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on February 22, Assam, Meghalaya on February 22 and 23, Jharkhand on February 23. At the same time, rain is going to occur in Chhattisgarh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura on February 22 and 23, Assam and Meghalaya on February 22-24, Odisha on February 24.

Apart from this, thunderstorm and lightning alert has been issued for Northeast India on 22 and 23 February. During the last 24 hours, day temperatures have fallen by 1-4°C in many parts of plains of Northwest India. Temperatures have risen by 3-5°C in many parts of Gangetic plains of West Bengal and there is no significant change in the rest of the country. Day temperatures were 1-3°C above normal in many parts of Maharashtra, Telangana, eastern parts of Central India, Bihar, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh. It was 1-4°C below normal in some parts of Northwest India and near normal in the rest of the country.

Minimum temperatures are likely to fall by 1-2°C over Northwest India during the next 2 days and thereafter a gradual increase of 3-5°C. No significant change in minimum temperatures is likely over Central India and Gujarat state during the next 3 days and thereafter a rise of 2-3°C. At the same time, there is no possibility of any significant change in minimum temperatures over the rest of India during the next 4-5 days.
