According to the IMD, heavy rain is expected in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh over the next 72 hours. Heavy rain is possible in Kerala and Karnataka.
Warning for those working near the sea
The India Meteorological Department has predicted strong waves and storms in the Andaman Sea, Bay of Bengal, and Arabian Sea over the next 72 hours. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea.
