East Central Railway has decided to stop Rajdhani Express at Danapur station. This will make it easier for passengers from West Patna and surrounding districts to go to Delhi. Rajendra Nagar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express and Sampoorna Kranti Express will now stop at Danapur, which will benefit passengers from Bhojpur, Buxar and Shahabad. Earlier these passengers had to go to Patna Junction.
East Central Railway has given a big relief to the passengers. Now Rajdhani Express will also stop at Danapur station. Railways said that this stoppage will be implemented soon.
For a long time, there was a demand from passengers and public representatives that a premium train like Rajdhani should stop at a busy station like Danapur, so that passengers from West Patna and surrounding districts get the convenience of going directly to Delhi.
According to the information, 12309/12310 Rajendra Nagar-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani Express and 12393/12394 Sampoorna Kranti Express have now been stopped at Danapur. This will greatly benefit the passengers of areas bordering Uttar Pradesh including Bhojpur, Buxar, Ara, Shahabad.
Earlier these passengers had to go to Patna Junction for trains like Rajdhani, but now they will be able to catch the train directly from Danapur.
The stoppage of Rajdhani Express at Danapur station is expected to increase the number of passengers here. Danapur division is already an important center of rail operations and administration. Now the stoppage of a superfast train like Rajdhani will make it more important.
10 pairs of special trains operated for New Delhi, Delhi and Anand Vihar
The major pairs include New Delhi-Darbhanga, New Delhi-Manasi, New Delhi-Dhanbad, Anand Vihar-Bhagalpur, Delhi-Bhagalpur, Anand Vihar-Sitamarhi, Delhi-Sitamarhi, Anand Vihar-Jogbani, Anand Vihar-Jaynagar and Anand Vihar-Rajgir.
These trains will run on a daily or weekly basis as per the scheduled time, ensuring stoppages at major stations during the journey and convenient connectivity. Apart from this, the operating period of Anand Vihar-Patna Special train has also been extended. Now this train will run daily from Anand Vihar till 29 November and from Patna till 30 November.
Railway officials said that these special trains will provide relief and convenience to the passengers in view of the increasing number of passengers. This initiative of East Central Railway will provide comfortable and safe travel experience to the passengers during the festival season, while it will also help in crowd and traffic management.
