To get ration at government rates, you used to get ration by giving finger print through Aadhaar till now. But due to this process there was fear of spreading of corona infection, so the government changed it. However, this decision has not been implemented in the entire country. It has been implemented only in the southern state of Telangana. Telangana government is giving ration from 01 February through OTP and Irish authentication.
All efforts are being made for the convenience of the ration card holders
For the convenience of ration card holders, the government is making various efforts. Recently, an app was launched, through which you can find the ration shop near your location. Not only that, through that app, you will also know when the ration is running and on which day you will get it. The name of the app is ‘My Ration’. Currently, it has been launched for Android phones only.
One Nation One Ration Card Scheme was started during lockdown
During the lockdown, the government started the One Nation One Ration Card scheme. The motive behind this was that ration card holders can get ration at any state in the state through a process. A large number of migrant workers returned to their home state in the lockdown. The government has started this scheme so that they do not have any problem.
