REET 2021: Candidates who pass Part-1 will be eligible to teach in classes 1 to 5 and those who pass Part-2 examination will be eligible to teach in classes 6 to 8. Both the exams will be of 150 marks and candidates will be given two and a half hours.
The application process for the Rajasthan Eligibility Test (TET) 2021 has started at reetbser21.com, rajashan.gov.in, or rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in. Candidates can apply till 8 February. The last date for depositing the fee through challan is 4 February. The exam will be held on 25 April and as per the official notification, the admit card will be released on 14 April. The examination will be conducted in two parts. Those who pass Part-1 will be eligible to teach from classes 1 to 5 and those who pass Part-2 examination will be eligible to teach from classes 6 to 8. Both the exams will be of 150 marks and candidates will be given two and a half hours.
In both exams, candidates have to pass Child Development and Teaching Methods, Language I and II. In Part-I exam, candidates have to pass the Mathematics and Environment test, while the fourth subject for Paper 2 will be based on specialization. The minimum passing marks in REET is 60%. For Scheduled Tribe candidates in the Scheduled Areas of Rajasthan, the minimum passing marks is 36 per cent. A certificate will be issued to the candidates who qualify in the examination, which will be valid for a period of three years as per rules.
Fees:
Applicants have to pay a fee of Rs 550 if they want to appear for only one exam, then those who want to apply for both Paper 1 and Paper 2 will have to pay Rs 750.
