If you invested in Sahara India and your money hasn’t yet been credited to your account despite filing a claim, there’s some good news for you. The Sahara India Refund Portal has now reopened the resubmission option. This facility is available to depositors whose claims were found to be deficient or whose payments were not processed for any reason. They can now correct their claims and resubmit them online, expediting the refund process.
Resubmission Process
Currently, this facility is available to depositors with deposits up to ₹10 lakh. Under resubmission, depositors can correct the deficiencies in their claims and resubmit them on the portal. Once a claim is submitted correctly, it will be processed within 45 working days. This entire process is being conducted digitally and transparently to avoid inconvenience to depositors.
Claims up to ₹50,000 have now been processed.
Applications already submitted on the CRCS-Sahara Refund Portal have been processed for those depositors whose claims could be verified. Claims found to have deficiencies were sent a message through the portal regarding the deficiencies. This resubmission portal now allows resubmission of claims after rectifying the deficiencies.
Online Payments Will Be Easy
Through this portal, depositors can correct deficiencies in their claims and submit them directly online. Only claims submitted online will be valid. It is also possible to deposit fees and check the status through the portal. This digital system will not only make the process transparent but also eliminate the old, cumbersome paperwork.
