Satish Shah Death: Actor Satish Shah of ‘Sarabhai vs Sarabhai’ fame passed away this afternoon. Indian film producer and director Ashoke Pandit shared the news and informed that the actor is no more. He was admitted to Hinduja Hospital on Saturday afternoon due to kidney failure, where he passed away.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit shared the news of his death on Instagram. He shared a photo of the actor and wrote, “It is with sadness and shock that I inform you that our friend and brilliant actor Satish Shah passed away a few hours ago due to kidney failure. He was immediately rushed to Hinduja Hospital, where he breathed his last. His passing is a great loss to our industry. Om Shanti.”
Satish Shah was born on June 25, 1951, in Mumbai. The actor was interested in acting since childhood. He studied acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), Pune, which laid the foundation for his career.
Satish Shah entered the film industry in the late 1970s. He has appeared in over 200 films, mostly superhits. His major films include “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro” (1983), “Masoom” (1983), “Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa” (1994), “Hum Aapke Hain Koun” (1994), “Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge” (1995), “Kal Ho Naa Ho” (2003), “Om Shanti Om” (2007), “Main Hoon Na” (2004), “Ra.One” (2011), “Chalte Chalte” and “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.”
