SBI: Buying a house will be easy, SBI makes home loan cheaper, processing fee is also completely forgiven

SBI on Friday announced a rebate of up to 0.30 percent on home loan rates and completely waived processing fees.

a release issued by the bank, saying that the new interest rates on home loans are linked to the CIBIL score and start at 6.80 per cent for loans up to Rs 30 lakhs, compared to Rs 30 lakhs. For higher loans, the interest rate will start from 6.95 percent. The bank said that women borrowers will get an additional discount of 0.05 percent.




According to the bank, ” aimed at offering attractive incentives to home buyers, the country’s largest lender State Bank of India has announced a 100 per cent discount on a discount of 30 bps on loan (0.30 per cent) and processing fee. ”

The bank said that interest concessions of up to 0.30 per cent are also available in eight metros for loans up to five crore rupees. The release said that customers can easily apply from home through the Yono app and get an additional interest relief of 0.05 per cent. The bank’s managing director (retail and digital banking) CS Setty said, “We are happy to extend the rebate to our prospective home loan customers by March 2021.”
