SBI CBO Recruitment 2026: The country’s leading bank, the State Bank of India (SBI), is offering graduates a golden opportunity to secure government jobs. The bank has announced recruitment for 2,050 Circle Based Officer positions. The bank has also issued an official notification in this regard. According to this, the application process for these 2,050 CBO positions has begun. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website, sbi.bank.in, until February 18, 2026. Graduates are eligible to apply for these positions. However, candidates must also have experience in the banking sector.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification: Only candidates with a graduate degree from a recognized university can apply for the CBO position. This degree can be in any subject. Candidates with a degree in medical engineering, engineering, or CA are also eligible.
Age Limit: The age limit for candidates applying for these posts is 21 to 30 years as on December 31, 2025. Age relaxation will be given to SC, ST and OBC, Persons with Disabilities as per government rules.
What is the selection process?
The SBI CBO recruitment process will first involve a written examination. Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for an interview and a language test. Successful candidates will undergo document verification and a medical examination. Following this, a final list of selected candidates will be released.
Application Fee
General, OBC, and EWS candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹750. There is no fee for SC, ST, PH or PWD candidates.
