Scholarship 2026: Under the Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme, scholarships are provided to students from Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes to pursue higher education. Online applications have been invited for students from Scheduled Castes, Other Backward Classes, and Denotified Tribes for the 2025-26 academic year. Eligible students can register on the National Scholarship Portal until February 28th.

DC Abhishek Meena stated that under the scheme, students from Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes who have completed 10th grade and are pursuing higher education in government or private educational institutions can benefit from this scheme. Eligible students must register by February 28th to ensure they are not deprived of higher education due to financial constraints.
Family Income Limits Set
He stated that for Post-Matric Scholarships, students must belong to the Scheduled Caste category for PMS-SC and the Other Backward Classes or Denotified Tribes category for PM-Yashasvi Component-2. They must be residents of Haryana, and their annual family income must not exceed ₹250,000. Eligible applicants can apply online for the 2025-26 academic year through the www.scholarships.gov.in portal by February 28th.
